2022–23: the first datathon. Lectures moved back into the classroom, the club website was redesigned, and InIT ran its first ever event: Data2Knowledge, a Money Heist-themed datathon. The year closed with a Transfer Learning masterclass for third-years.

flagship · 16 February 2023 · Money Heist

Data2Knowledge: InIT's first event

The club's first event was a datathon for students into data science and ML, with the IT and CS departments dressed as Money Heist sets and the labs named after mints. Mentors shortlisted teams of one or two on their resumes and matched each to a problem statement. Teams got an hour to plan and six hours to build, and three finalists per problem presented in the seminar hall.
